The Collier County School District is comprised of 44 schools and serves over 45,000 students. There are 7 high schools,10 middle schools and 25 elementary schools. There are also 15 alternative schools, 2 charter schools and an adult education center. All schools in Collier County are accredited with the Southern Association of Colleges & Schools. The district is dedicated to supplying students with the best possible education. The Collier County School District has a long term plan for the construction of a dozen new facilities in the next five years. There's also a wide selection of religious and non denominational private schools in the area. Approximately 20 private schools are available for the education of children of all ages.
